Romans - Trusting the Promise

Read Romans 4:13-25

Yet [Abraham] did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. - Romans 4:20-21 (NIV)

Jesus came to make us right with God through his death on the cross, and as we trust what He’s done for us we’re made right. Yet we are so ingrained in our patterns of what it means to be a God-fearing person, that we are constantly tempted to try to (and want to) make ourselves righteous, until the Gospel wakes us up. So the question becomes “Will you trust Him?”
