Submission and Sabbath

Submission is giving up our way in favor of someone else’s, engaging in the highest level of fellowship in acts of humility, complete honesty, transparency and at times confession and restitution. In other words, placing oneself under the authority of another. As Christians we are to first submit to God, and then to one another. When we do this, we will find that life only truly works when we are submitted to the Author of Life.

Sabbath means observing the Sabbath as a day of resting and for attending to one’s faith in God. This would include being in worship and fellowship with other believers, but also engaging in life with them, stopping work and being with your family and the extended family of God.
