Peter at Pentecost
It’s important not to be afraid of spiritual conversations. At Pentecost, Peter confronts a crowd that is amazed by what they see and hear, but don’t understand it. So Peter tells them “This is God,” and then goes on to explain the way of salvation.
In order for us to do this, we first have to believe God still works in miraculous ways. But when God is doing that, people need explanation, people need context for what is happening. First and foremost, we point people to God, and then to faith in God doing this on purpose so that their faith will be built up.
Always be prepared for God to work, and then be prepared to explain what Jesus has done, and what people can have through faith in Jesus, and the Holy Spirit coming into their lives.
