Journaling and Meditation
Hebrews 4:12   For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Journaling is keeping a spiritual diary where you write out your prayers and thoughts and record what you hear God saying to you. Putting your spiritual struggles into words helps you sharpen and process how God is working in your life. Keeping a log of prayers, so you can look back and realize how God has answered them, is also great for growing your faith.

Meditation is listening, sensing and heeding the life and light of Jesus Christ, opening ourselves to be acted upon by the Holy Spirit. We meditate on Scripture, God’s Truth, looking at it from different angles, closely examining it as we might examine a jewel, letting the power of the Word of God go to work on us.
